Post by Bebop0083 » Fri May 16, 2003 11:54 am

ive been hearing rumors about a live Cowboy Bebop movie for a while now as well as Akira. but if they do make a live Bebop movie who would you cast?

my cast

Spike: Jet Li
Jet: Rip Torn
Faye: Kelly Hue

as for Ed i dont know who but it would have to be some one who can play her personality. if some one knows that there is a live Bebop movie please tell me.

As long as they don't overdo the hair due(especially Spike's), i'm fine with it...if they do a good job.

i sure hope they don't ... ifit's hollywood then theres a law some where that says that they will have to botch it up and make something totaly different that is not CB but uses its name any ways and that will most likely suck.

Yup. Every director has to have his original ideas in it because he thinks he can make it better.

Heres a clue for the directors: Why do you think it was so successful in the first place?

They could do it if they found a director and screenwriter who's egos didnt require them to rewrite the story and characters. Problem is its hard to find a underinflated ego in Hollywood.

I hope they never do a live action Cowboy Bebop...
but I am just standing here dumbfounded at the concept of Rip Torn as Jet.

I am a big fan of Rip Torn...

but as Jet???

I have been thinking about him just as a voice actor and...

well...

words fail me.

What ever made you think of Rip Torn as Jet?
I'm really interested to know.

Did anyone ever see that photoshopped poster with Stephen Dorff as Spike, Cameron Diaz as Faye and Clancy Brown as Jet?

It was pretty scary!
