Country music AMV Ideas
I think that country music has been overlooked for some time in the creation of Videos.I have heard many good song that could be used,Such as Clint blacks version of "Desperado" that could be used for Trigun Or for Cowboy bebop. Of course that would be a slow, and moody one.The next on the list of his would be "Baby Blue" which made me think of Rem from Trigun,or belldandy from Oh my goddess. Please post your favorite song and video ideas if you have any please. 8)

Hmm. I'm not a fan of country music nor have I felt that the majrity of country songs work well with anime. Then again, this is only my opinion and I won't discourage anyone from doing this. Nor am I even trying to discourage anyone.

I say go for this country thing!
I haven't seen a country AMV yet, and though I don't like country - hell, if it's original and well made - I'm all for it.
There's so many deserving artists and ideas that haven't had AMV' set to their music, it's a shame people are still making stuff based on the same music over and over....

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I would definitely agree and encourage you to go for it. Country songs are probably in general harder to do than some other genres because they tend to be more balladic (is that a word???) and more specific in their storytelling, and thus harder to come up with scenes and shows to match the lyrics. But, with as many songs as there are, I'm sure there are plenty that would make good AMVs. I personally would love to see a good video made to "Standing Outside the Fire"....

Thank you all for the encouaging words. I'm planning on trying to make my first video within a couple of months, but it will have to be made with the windows creator(its so hard to be a poor single unemployed virgin knight these days)I hope I can at least make it a decent video for you all to see.I'm planning on using Travis Tritt for the first one.The song is T-R-O-B-L-E. I was going to focus on the girls from Tenchi-Muyo or just on Faye Valentine from CB(cowboy bebop) When I finish i'll let you know. Until then keep on postin. SEE YOU SPACE COWBOYS,AND GIRLS
