odds are that you'll like the ending ... i know that i did.

umm maybe this wouldn't be a good idea ... theres a chance that love hina would fall prey to DBZ syndrome. Where the story just gets milked beyond the point of no return and just goes totaly off track and loses all relevance to the original story. But if they could do it with out fucking it up it would be nice.

I have first and second series and I liked both of them. I kinda stumbled on Van Dread looking for a mecha series and was very suprised and pleased with it.

I liked the endings too.

I really wasn't too wild with the ending of the primary Love Hina anime series (excluding the Christmas special and other extras because I haven't seen them). After seeing how much of an influence Matoko's sister has on her, I thought it was great to see an episode with Motoko fighting her inner self and triumphing over her sister. But I don't think that should have been the last episode. I thought it should have ended with a Naru/Keitaro story.

As far as the controversial Eva ending is concered. I'd accept episodes 25+26 anyday over EoE. I know...I'm weird. But at least there isn't as much death.

You have to see the Xmas special and the spring special. If you like Love Hina they are a must see. Period.

as far as perfering evan endings, i'm pretty neutral about it. The one turn off that EoE presents me with is not the amount of death, but the fact that that other army swept thgouh NERV HQ and slaughtered surrendering people. That churned my stomach. But as for the TV ending, i can't remember very much of it and have to see it again before i can really comment on it.

Yeah a lot of people died, but in the end the ending is still the same...relatively uplifting and happy...in theory they're the same thing just one shows the violence...so I guess I see your point, but look on the bright side...both are the same...so that "happier" ending in the TV DID happen :).

Yeah, especially Trigun. I can understand that after getting to Knives there is no other plot(sort of), but it sucks because that it ended.

I just watched His and Her Circumstances(Kare Kano) and I thought the show was incredible. It was one of the best animes I've ever seen, esp the middle episodes they were incredible. My favorite types of animes have love stories in them and since this was a straight out love story I really enjoyed it.

I have to say though the ending was, well, I don't even know if I want to say bad because it didnt' have an ending. The last episode could as well been episode 3 and it wouldn't of made any difference. I know the manga continues on, but why even make an anime show if you are going to have a pointless ending. It bothers me as an anime fan that a company would put this out if the only reason was to try and make some money, because it couldn't of been to satisfy the fewers since they didn't end the show. I'm going to buy the manga now, so they probably accomplished their goal and I still put it as one of my top animes, but the Kenshin ending closed it's show better then this one.

I've been saying that some shows needed an extra episode or two to help finish it(or in Kenshin's case like Master Shake said a few less), but this show almost needs an extra season.

:? I thought that episodes 4-11 (the ones that I've seen so far) had a lot of good content and character development. I've heard rumours that the ending's not good, but I'll have to see for myself when the whole series is out officially.
