dam that's expensive I thought I get ripped of by shopping at sun coast $30 for every single anime dvd. I found a few good web sites that are cheap there's that Animecorner.com that kind of cheap and fast but the shipping is expensive. Theres also discountanime.com but there so fucking slow I had to wait 4 weeks to get stuff. the whole hellsing is only 25$ but its in Japanese with English subs

well not really ... future shop and HMV are shit, they usualy have a puny selection and the prices are normaly jacked up pretyt high. The prices at Comic World arent' all that much better but i enjoy going there much more, at least the staff there don't look at me like i'm a convicted child raper when i buy something or sit there gawking. Plus those guys know what in the hell they're talking about ...

Aw gosh, painful painful.

Well, you should feel good cause you have actually some places that sell stuff in the area, Propyro.

I'm about 2 hours away from GTA and at least a dozen miles from any decent store (store... not even anime-related in any way) ... now that's painful. Well, that's why it's good to take occasional trips for merchandise. I usually do a lot of shopping at CN Anime, but I hear they jack up the prices over there all the same (still possible to find some deals though).

Near Bathurst Subway station (a block or two southwest of it).

Best prices in GTA for licenced domestic anime. (to my knowledge)

Thank you.
Will take that note, thanks.

Anyone know any good places for imports? I'm big on imported manga, and it gets to be a real ripoff - you have things like Love Hina where the Japanese sticker says somewhere in the 300-400 yen area, and they're pushing it for anywhere from 12-40 bucks! That's like... steep
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

well i don't know where you live, but apparantly it's in canada, though if you had said you live 2 hours south of toronto then i'd ahve a rough idea wehre you are ... but the best place to my knowledge for manga is comic world. they usualy ahve lots of it, some with the left handed spine, some with the right handed spine. I already gave you a link, but jsut incase you don't feel like going around looking for it its http://www.thecomicwarehouse.com the "about us" link on the side will give you the addresses of both locations.

gee that must be an old picture ... because now theres a big glass case on the right side of the front of the store full of resin sculptures ... i'm usualy standing there gwaking for about 5 min every time i walk by.

Oh, finding manga is not that much of a problem. But I've never seen any imported, non-translated manga around here... that's the stuff I'm really looking for. Found only in GTA, from what I gather so far.

ohh .. well if you go to comicworlds site you can email them about imported untranslated manga. Or you can problaby find some places on the net that you can get it, and on the net you usualy get a much better deal.
