it may have been stupid, but it was funny. And trigun not holding a candle to kenshin is yet to be decided in my case, but i'll take your word for it. I still want to see the series with all the lame filler too ... who knows it may be interseting. But i'm getting ahead of my self ... i still have to finish watching CB, GotF and battle royal.dwchang wrote: Fortunately, the scene you spoiled is stupid anyway...things like this is why I don't think Trigun holds a candle to Kenshin btw and I *know* someone is gonna argue with the RK fillers that weren't in the manga and i will already retort with..it wasn't in the manga.
coolest moment in anime(any genre) [SPOILERS]

Trust me the fillers are HORRIBLE and will give you the wrong impression about the show (since it's not really part of it). I could even see you quitting the show b/c of them (the sumo episode comes to mind). BTW Battle Royal is awesome!Propyro wrote:it may have been stupid, but it was funny. 1. Watch the episodes in order.
2. Don't watch amv's for a series till you've seen the whole series.
3. watch only one anime at a time.
4. watch anime's from start to finish.
5. if possible watch subtitled.
hmm i think thats all the rules i go by, or try to go by when i'm watching anime.

jeez but there are so many. and yet the only few that come to mind are macross plus, i really loved the concert of sharon apple.
char's counterattack, when all the soldiers tried to help save the earth
vampire hunter d bloodlust, when the brothers were raising hell in the first town
dragon ball z, the final attack on cell when everybody joined forces to beat on him
silent mobius, actually that whole anime was full of pretty cool moments
outlaw star, the grappler battles
i'll think of more later

Fighting weak oponents leaves me feeling so empty inside.

Well I agree for the most part, except for #4...try and follow the original manga..that's what a lot of anime is based on and filler is just that...and should not be counted against or something stupid like that.Propyro wrote:1. Watch the episodes in order.

well i can't quite get manga ... wel i can, but the selection i ahve to choose from is not the greatest ... Plus there are some shows i've watched that start off slow but pick up later on in the story. The most prominent one that comes to mind is trigun ... for the first ahlf of the series i thought vash just a bumbleing idiot that whined and was very lucky ... later on i found out he still was that but he was also not human, he was something much better/cooler. If i had not followed rule 4 i'd have missed out on a pretty good series.
But still those are my personal rules, i'm not trying to force them on anyone else.

That's not my point. My point is you should watch the anime as closely to the manga as possible. You obviously can watch the anime (one day), so it is best to try and stay as true to the manga as you can, which you obviously can do by avoiding episodes.Propyro wrote: well i can't quite get manga ...
Awww manAtomicWeezleMan wrote:well, you may have the book of points.......but i have the book of grudges.......and you just went to the top for that............
