Do you enjoy Penny Arcade?

I was with my friend in school going over Penny Arcade, I am an avid fan and never miss a new comic, and when I first became interested in Penny Arcade went through their archive and read all the ones I'd missed. However, I found my friend did not get most of them, and was heard to remark on how stupid the comics were. It hit me just then that the humor was nerd humor (not that I hadn't actually noticed before) and of the very strong type. I find myself laughing at the comic quite often but for those without certain knowledge of the world of games and technology it's a lost cause. I was wondering if anyone else was a fan of Penny Arcade around here.

Also, I drew a picture of Gabe in school today...true it's not 100% accurate, but whats the point of fanart if the artist doesn't add their artistic flare to it.

Two conflicting opinions, I'm liking these boards more and more.

What makes you hate the comic with such strong passion, if you don't mind me asking. I'm always willing to listen to opinions.

I like it for it's humor, it makes me laugh so I enjoy it. I like the appearance and style of the characters as well so that adds to my enjoyment of the comic.

And no, I don't mind you asking.

I know I may seem shallow, becuase the comic might be great, but I hate the artwork.

I like megatokyo much better, but thats just me.

That's ok, I like MegaTokyo to, however I'm on the opposite side, I never really liked the art in Megatokyo. Just never appealed to me for some reason.

Oh I don't much care for the megatokyo art either, I just ment I like it for its story. Probably the only webcomic I like with good art is Space Cowgirl Radical Edward. Its a story about edward and spike from cowboy bebop.
