i have a hong kong dvd of it... since it has actually never been released on dvd in japan or america...

and the dvd looks great... more than likely a ld rip

Excellent. I was at first worried since, as you said, it wasn't released in the states. I was worried about quality of HK DVDs, but if it's good then, it's good

I am looking foward to checking out the amv iron chef competition. Luckily this year I am pretty early on the list for masqerafe so I will probably be able to sneak out once my skit is done and check it out.

But yeah..... it will be interesting to see what people come up with.

it was... cool...

I did not know... (Most of my information is based on what a freind tells me... He tends to know alot about that type of stuff... so I have learned to trust him with out worring to much)

Is the Region 2 disc THAT much better in quality? There are a FEW HK DVDs that are alright in quality and hopefully this is one of them since I am planning on using Macross (I think this is linked somehow to the fact I watched original macross when I was 5..not robotech btw).
