Anyone have their wisdom teeth out?

no, when you start seeing chunks go though the clear tubes then it gets cool ...

I got mine out last year. It was great the morphine and gas made a great combo. I took 4 advils an hour before i went there and i had little swelling and pain. Which kindof sucked cause I was able to go back to school 2 day later

Just in time for finals.

I got mine taken out over Xmas. My uncle did it for me (he an oral surgin). But I had oral surgry down 2 times on me now. My uncle did not do my first one. The first one was to explost a tooth. they expolsed it in the roof of my mouth. that one did not hurt a bit.

I got the IV in both surgury. I tell you it pretty cool be knock out by drugs.

Now when I got my wisedom teeth pull I was knock out so I did not feel a thing. After I got the pulled I was pretty sleepy for the rest of the day. I did not eat at all during the day because I just didn ot want to due to the surgurey. Most of the day I had gauses in my mouth. I think the first day was the worsed but the pain killers that were given to me helped out a lot. The first night it was the pain killers that put me to sleep. I was in a fair amout of pain that night. But after that I just did not eat hard food for a few days. After the first day you are hardly in any pain. by the 3-4th day I did not feel a thing.

I never had any of my wisdom teeth taken out, but I did have to go in for oral surgury to remove a tooth fragment and straighten one of my front teeth so that it came in correctly.

I've had two of my wisdom teeth pulled out on separate occasions. I don't recall that it hurt all that much. They did local anaesthesia for me with needles. That's basically the only part where you'll feel any pain. After the anaesthesia starts to work (it takes a while) you won't feel a thing in your mouth.

The worst part is the sound that comes from pulling the tooth out with force. It's sounds really grouse. The younger you get your wisdom teeth pulled out the better because the roots are still small and it's easier to get the tooth out.

Also your mouth and cheeks will be numb and swollen for a while afterwards. That will gradually pass as the hours go by. I was already back to my normal routine the next day.

My dentist said that only 10% of people are able to keep their wisdom teeth.
