Questions about Neon Genesis Evangelion. (Death & Rebirt
I've rented the movie called Death & Rebirth. I watched it and I was REALLY lost while trying to figure out what was going on. Do I need to watch to series in order to really get was is going on? Is the series really hard to follow like this movie was(well... in my opinion)

D00d that REALLY sucks for you. Death & Rebirth is like...AFTER the entire 26 episode TV series. It was basically there to sum up the TV series and show the first half of "End of Evangelion" notice how the title is..END of?RobLoge85 wrote:I've rented the movie called Death & Rebirth. Watching the series really would provide some answers for ya. Besides there are some really funny stuff on eva. esp. episode 2&3 with the pen^2 and Shinji incident.

you really should watch the series, and if your like me, then watch the series several times, then go watch end of evangelion if you want to ... it was made as a suplementry ending to relpace episodes 25 and 26 in the series (i think those are the last 2 eps). D&R also has some footage and commentary that wasn't in the series, so if you want more tid-bits then go watch it age, after you see the series it will actualy make some kind of sense.
