Well, damn it. It used to be thirteen. From what I've heard they only changed it due to international pressure, though.
When I become an Evil Overlord my Legions of Terror will be an equal-opportunity employer. Conversely, when it is prophesied that no man can defeat me, I will keep in mind the increasing number of non-traditional gender roles.

And considering the fact that im borderline disusted with people who obsess over any 14 year old attention whore...let alone a FICTIONAL one...im really tempted....

the way i see it, the only difference between misoto (not sure if i spelled that right) and asuka in the series was that they were labled with different ages and asuka was drawn shorter.
Other than that asuka looks like a well developed 18 year old or older, like misoto, only shorter.

nope it's misato, and yrou right they do seem to ahve some similar charictaristics. Though misato did have a 2 week sex romp with kaji to help her forget/cope with her father ...MorningSon wrote:misoto (not sure if i spelled that right)
Plus misato dose a much better job of dealing with her issues, Asuka is pretty much driven insane by her mother, who had killed herself (and tried to drag asuka with her). Misato was pretty beaten up by her fathers neglect, but she apparantly dealt with it.

but then again you can see that as a way of misato dealing with her problems ...

Well, they do say we choose a mate that reminds us of our opposite-gender parent...Propyro wrote:but then again you can see that as a way of misato dealing with her problems ...
Was that Freud? A friend once told me that a lot of Eva is inspired by Jungian philosophy, so maybe it was Jung...
No, I'm pretty sure it was Freud who said that humanity had an inborn oedipal complex...
sick shit, oedipal complexes...
But I digress.
