... i gues syou don't sharpen your knives ... a serated blade will cut well longer then a straight edge, but a sharp straight edge makes a far neater, faster and deeper cut ... have you ever played with brand new x-acto blades? Belive me, there are few things that cut flesh faster then those. i agree, a serated blade inflicts a far more greivous wound, thats great if you have the time to do that ... if not and your intrested in a quick, "clean" kill use a straight edge. Plus have you ever sharpened serated blades? you need to use a rat tail sharpener and it takes fucking hours ... besides the only reason to have serations on anything other then a steak knife as i see it would be for intimidation or to use the knife as a make-shift saw ... theyre pretty danm well pointless other wise. But thats my opinion, go a head use serated knives if you like them so much.Hoeya wrote:Serration will make the wound deeper than an ordinairy blade. If you have ever used a serrated knife, you will notice it cuts meat much more quickly because a single cut is deeper and requires less effort than a straight edged knife of the same size. A serrated sword would cut flesh deeper(and thus, incapacitating better) than a normal blade because of the way it is made.
A place? No such thing...you either make it yourself or commission someone. That's what I did.SnhKnives wrote:i need a good Myo Oh no Anji costume, anyone know a good place t get one?
would somone mind explaining cosplaying ... i've never been to a con so this is pretty new for me ... but i'll assume it involves dressing up as a character.SnhKnives wrote:i dont know, i remember when i didnt do cosplaying.... and i ran across this one site that did sailor moon outfits.... so i dunno, i dont cosplay alot.,.... give me a break

I guess a Katana is nice for smaller people, I would think do you Cosplayers just use Fake Sword. Hell you don't need a blade if you don't mean to pull it out of the sheath, just a nice handle to stick out.
So to answer you question I don't know, I just like other swords.
