Im saying that work is not easy in times of war. I mean, sure, they can work in factories and stuff, and get paid, but there was also little food. Im not an expert on economy, but wouldnt that cause some sort of inflation? I dont know.
And they did know about the attack (im studying this in history right now), they just didnt know WHEN.
Im surprised American didnt join the war when the Nazis sunk their ships, i guess they wanted to keep their neutrality. After all, the people of America didnt want to go to war, but the government did. War brings more jobs after all, its good for the country... if you not getting invaded on. Anyway, the trick was Pearl Harbor, after that, the American people wanted payback, and so the U.S> went to war.
I like America, I really do, great place to live in, im not singling it out, every country has corruption, and they do the best for the greater number of people, even if that means sacrifcing some.
Everybody does it.
Dont be a Lemming, dont fall off the cliff.
Im going to bed now.

I can explain that one we were helping the british with Asw when we were susposed to be neutral. Thus our ships were illegaly helping the British and we were in the wrong. So if germans shot at our ships they had all rights to and we couldn't use that as an excuse to go to war. One german Uboat even had the U.SS California in it's sight but Hitler used better discretion and told it not to fire.
Purity is wackable!

Japan's attack wasn't unprevoked.
America was blockading them and supporting their enemies.
This movie shows one thing not many like to see. For everyone we kill they leave behind someone that suffers.
It makes us easier to justify the horrible things we do but forgetting this.
Its not a matter of who's right and who's wrong, all that matters is innocent people suffer.
People seem get serouis about this post, so i thought I might aswell be serouis for the first time aswell.

There is no righteousness in war, only corruption, greed and revenge.Righteous 100%. Makes freakin perfect sense to me.

Well true, depends on the reasons, but usally leads to more tragedy. You know the Battle of the Alamo? A few hundreds Texans fighting off hordes and hordes of Mexian troops. Mexico eventually won, and everybody was like "Remember the Alamo!"
Later, when the Americans were marching into Mexico City, they attacked without warning a poor defended fort. I mean, it was a massacre, hundreds of Mexicans killed.
It's called the "Battle de Chapultepec". What makes it different from the Alamo, was that Capultepec was a Military School with kids from 10 to 16, fighting an army, and they werent given a chance to surrender. They killed them all.
I would argue that Americans dont learn about that in history books, but hey, Mexicans dont learn about the Alamo either, and im sure both stories are exagerated, history is biased anyway.
A quick example, Japanese bomb Pearl Harbor, revenge is reasonable. Later, TWO atomic bombs hit Japan.
I guess that's justified...
I guess this isn't an Anime topic anymore.
