do you boycott non-AMV in a-m-v.org?

Post by Eek-1 » Mon Apr 28, 2003 2:43 am

I was just wondering.. well, since i had heard from a few saying non-AMVs are not supposed to be in a-m-v.org..
those who stand by this philosophy, do you also keep yourselves from watching non-amv, or it's just a saying?

I'm with AD. Non-anime AMVs (as well as most game-related videos) just don't interest me very much. :?

Some cg vids intrest me, but ones that are non anime and non cg don't interest me and should not be uploaded to the carrot. (I have seen some live footage uploaded)

I've gone on an amv diet, so i'm boycotting everythig until i get rid of the "I've seen so many amvs taht i'm sick of them all" feeling...

...it's not contagious, i hope.

I think the main thing is, people don't want non-AMV's in the AMV database. I'm all for a good music video, no matter the source material. If it's good, I'll keep it. If not, I'll trash it (just like any other vid).

KOMPRESSOR EAT YOUR NON-AMVS.

Seriously, there's a few non-anime MVs that I've seen that I've really liked, like any of the FF vids by Amber Haze Productions, and Aluminum's Super Beast...but beyond that, I guess you could say that I just don't have an interest in getting them. Call it whatever you want.

Query: Does it count if you add some live action footage to a mostly animated piece?
