Maybe they just don't care one way or the other...Milo.

Honestly, I don't know why you get so worked up when it is so obvious that they are baiting you on? But such is life I guess.

I know that they don't care. The situation is that my choices are to be silent in the face of mass stupidity or to speak my mind. Even if what I have to say will not have any impact on the dullards in question, maybe someone will understand. I have actually made some friends on this board because of my comments.

When someone says that children deserve to die... or that a group of people deserve horror to fall upon them because of their race, creed, color, or sexual orientation... it really makes me want to get up and scream. I simply can't stand by and listen to such foulness without feeling that I contribute to the foulness unless I speak up against it.

America has moved very slowly forward on equality because so many people would rather sit back then step forward.

I wish I could give the exact quote of Martin Luther King Jr. when he talked about how the real tragedy of the nation was the apathy of men of good will.

Oh yeah...

And then I remember that I am on an internet forum where the people I am talking to are represented by the faces of anime characters. :?

Let me see their actions in the real world before I pass total judgement. :?

Oh, and I never said he deserved to be in his situation. No one really does.
Yes, this harsh world creates victims that suffer, however, those victims can still fight and through determination find a way to survice. Or have a cry.
**When I watched it I noticed** the boy didn't seem determined to make an honest living. He tried to buy food he kept selling things to pay for it but he didn't ask for help, too stubborn. Instead of trying to steal from fathers he could of tried to bring lil sister around and use her as pity fund an attempt to arrange a deal with farmer that would allow him to work for enough food for the two of them.

opinions. got to love them.

I heard it was really good, kinda dissapointed me.

*spoilers*

I agree with Mroni when the little shit should of just done some work. Rather then stealing from the farmer he could of just begged him to allow him to work for food.

Although, have to disagree with the hammer of justice thing. America didn't really have any loses in the war so had no right to vengance. If it was China that exacted revenge on Japan maybe yer.
But, History is written by the victor, its hard to say these days who's right and who's wrong. I even heard Japan had already surrendered before they dropped the nukes but since they went to all the trouble to make them they used em anyway.
Skanks my freind the Japanese dragged america into a war it did not want by sneak attacking Pearl harbor. And to put down the Japanese we had to hop from island after island to kick their ass. So don't say we had no right to revenge our whole pacific fleet (thank god not the carriers) lay in ruins at pearl harbor. Here I get to throw in a plug for my favorite movie TORA TORA TORA  Actually it is a good movie to watch.

Do you have ANY understanding of what was going on at that time? Do you know what Japanese culture was like during that wart time. He couldn't get a job, he shouldn't have even had to be put in that position!

I guess that's too much to grasp.

-Uncle Milo
Milo if what you say is true why did the aunt so badly want him to get one. Just what about Japanese culture stopped him from working? And don't tell me Japanese didn't use child labor because then I'll call you a shit eating liar.

Seems like the term "little shit" sums up your feelings about the character pretty strongly... but obviously I must be psycho...

Yes... opinions are wonderful things...

far too many people try to shield themselves behind that word... but sometimes the word doesn't apply.

I think my quote would have been if killing all the children in japan saved one american child's father in war we didn't start then it would be just. That's more along my way of thinking Milo if you can retropost what I said more power to you I don't remember advocating the death of children. And stop quoting that hypocritical adulterer Martin luther king jr. Once again I'll use a better quote to justify what I say. War is Hell!- General sherman when asked about the brutality of his campaigning in the south.

Lol this has been going on for months. If you noted at the top of my post I put here we go again. If I had a little sister and I was in that situation pride would be the last thing on my mind. I would work anyway I could.
