Internet Explorer 6 SUCKS

Well the other day I thought I had a problem with internet explorer (it turned out it was just stupidity on my part though) so I decided to try upgrading to 6.0. Worst decision ever! 6.0 is complete CRAP! First of all, it often wouldn't display half of the images here at the org. 2nd of all, IT WOULD CORRUPT ANY LARGE AMVS I TRIED TO DOWNLOAD. I spent 2 days thinking I had a bad sector on my hard disk, and wondering why the hell my disk checking utilities couldn't catch it. The whole time, the problem was just IE didn't feel like saving the files properly! ARGH! I have downgraded back to 5.5 and everything is running FINE thank god.

well I have 6 and it's great on my comp....(well it came with thecomp) so I guess maybe you're computer couldn't handle it?

Could be the OS. 6.0 runs fine here. Only time it has crashed was upon trying to load emoticon spammed forum pages.

Ie 6.0 is fine for me too man....it could be a layer 8 problem.....

me likey opera, but the interface is too clutered. I used to like netscape, but THE LOADING! Damnation. I too have had no probs with IE6. Sometimes, though when I use Opera and am dlin' sumthing, it says the file is corrupt... oh well...
