If someone posted a link to warez, or gave FTP info/warez website/shit like that, then that'd violate the rules. P2P has its valid uses (such as those users who lack money or knowledge or whatever for hosting), and as earthcurrent pointed out, it's a program that you can use to access warez, but it is not warez in and of itself.

Of course, I don't really care what people do on their own home computers - just don't be blabbing your ass off about it.

Also, I suspect that rule exists partly because Phade doesn't want to attract heat, and partly to keep the message boards from getting filled with shit like "DOES NE1 HAVE SERIALZ/KEYGEN 4 PREMERE?!!!!1!!1 PLZ REPLY ASAP, KTHX!"

Of course asking about P2P programs isn't illegal, and he isn't asking for warez. Cat just likes to be an ass sometimes.

Asking about P2P programs and assuming it is for warez is like asking about guns and assuming it's for robbing a bank.
