Older AMV's information
I am just seeking info on a couple of AMV's I saw a while back. When I first started college, I was shown a few on a video cassette. They were as follows:
Pink Floyd "Learning to Fly" to Wings of Honnemease (sp?)
Metallica "Enter Sandman" to Iczer One
Just wondering if anyone still had them in a form that could be downloaded. They weren't bad back when they were only done by S-VHS and an editing deck. Even the lipsyncs were good.

Whee! Honneamise/"Learning to Fly is one of mine.
I don't have a copy uploaded to the Dangling Carrot as of yet, but I can try to scrounge up a shitty decade-old VHS copy and capture it.

Cool
Thanks for the response on one. Feel bad that I lost my copy because I pressed the Record button by accident. Though, the commericals that replaced them were funny, they just didn't have the same pinache.

Verrry nice. We've got one heck of an SVHS pro deck in our dub rack, but it's a Sony as well. So far as I know, we can only play out from it, not record to it. And it better be in SP too.

Yeah, tapeless is the way to go these days. I'm having a heck of a time getting my Panasonic AG-DS555 serviced by anybody. I'm getting the impression that tape isn't going to just fade away: the big companies are gonna kill it outright just to have one less mouth to feed.RichLather wrote:After the May ratings period we're set to go tapeless for editing: Grass Valley systems fed by our Beta decks, then output to servers.
