I want to thank everyone who has reacted positivly to this video. It was unexpected, and honestly, overwhelming.
This video came away with Best of Show and Best Comedy at Anime Boston, and has also won Most Orginal Video Concept at Anime Oasis.
It uses footage from the truely awful Hello Kitty DVD. Seriously, three-year-olds would be insulted by it. The song is the Mortal Kombat theme. Hopefully, this stands out a little from the many other Mortal Kombat videos out there.
The video was up against some other really great videos. I'm very honored to be able to walk away with awards from such a tough field.

Well, how many Hello Kitty videos out there are set to Mortal Kombat? ;pKamoc wrote:how the hell is this an original concept?
Actually, IMO, what makes it so good is not just the fact that the idea of Hello Kitty and Mortal Kombat is so delightfully wrong, it's that there are already a fairly large number of Mortal Kombat videos that take shows that are halfway appropriate and set them to the theme. I think that's kind of what makes my PPG:R funnier than it would be. If there hadn't been any other MK videos made, Fight! would still be quite funny- but it is even funnier for me having seen several of the others.
