Hoover has a nice collection of hats and, for some reason, shoes (?) that are recovered from the lower deck after they are lost by tourists. The hats make sense, being blown off by the wind or falling from people's heads when they gaze over the side, but even I was at a loss for the shoes.
That was my shoe :l I was trying to kick my own ass O_O
 kewl

I believe that was an earthen dam.
They continue to have a high tendency of failure.

You can't beat the History Channel for informative programs on events like that.
