Funn
What a Fun topic. I'll have to go take a picture of what my editing area looks like tonight. I think I'll win on having the most cluttered working area. Ofcourse I'm rather jelous as most poeple have actual Chairs to sit in.

Well, I dont have access to a digital camera so I'll describe my room at the moment. I'm in mid editing binge so it's much messier than usual. There's some dishes I need to wash ^^;;
The room is pretty small by western standards. I'd say around 6-8 tatami mats
OK, I have the PC on a cheap wooden desk - big blue tower (on the right) with the side off containing far too many hard disks. 19" monitor of joy, an ergonoic keyboard, an optical mouse, ratpad and numerous piles of cds ><
There's empty glasses scattered all over the desk too.
Going anticlockwise 90 degrees we have the shiny steel sleek pioneer stereo. It has a david bowie cd in at the moment.... then we have the 28" widescreen tv. It's old but still has a great picture. Underneath are two multistandard vcrs and a dvd player. The tv currently has about 20 dvds stacked on it for some reason - most of eva, all of FLCL, boogiepop, all of saikano and most of the ghibli dvds. Oh and I can see gunbuster there too.
Continuing anticlockwise is an electric piano and an acoustic guitar. A blocked-up fireplace with some random stuff on the mantlepiece - a Totoro plushie, my awards from AWA and a bottle of Chateau Musar 1996 which I'll be opening on my birthday on wednesday.... hmmm, only one bottle of wine and a bottle of port... must fix that.
On the back wall behind my pc is the couch. It's an 80s relic... Sigourney Weaver as Dana in Ghostbusters has the same one
It's usually comfy but at the moment it's got a lot of stuff from teaching - Pam Cook's "Cinema Book" and some homework I need to mark.
Finally on the east wall is my crappy bed. Rented accomodation can have ok beds and crap beds... this one is crap. Tucked away in the far corner is a really nice fender strat.
The general decor of the room is nasty - flowery chints on the walls and the curtains and as it's rented I'm not in any great hurry to fix it. At least if I had plain walls some pictures would look nice. North facing windows give me the view of a busy road, but at least I get enough sun and I dont get much monitor glare.
That's about it, really. This thread has reminded me that I need a camera. Ah well, birthday soon - I might treat myself
