sweat drop

Post by Epic_Dark_Jaeden » Thu Apr 17, 2003 1:41 pm

*laughs*

No, again I will try to explain,

Ive allready found what Im looking for, From Ayashi no ceres, or Fushigi yuugi, or similar, What I havent found IS THE SCENES!

I dont have my DVD's anymore so I cant capture the scenes myself.

what I need IS A DOWNLOAD of an AVI or MOV or MPG of a DEATH SCENE.

Now, I have searched for these scenes, and havent had any luck finding a working download. I find links, but there all error 404 sites where the links dont work

What I was trying to ask was, Does someone know of a site with WORKING DOWNLOADS of the death scenes, or HAS the death scenes they can send me via e-mail or other method.

Did that work?

sorry ive seemed to be so confuseing, Ive tried my best to explain what I need lol

If you'll notice no one has said anything about helping you download stuff is cuz we're not supposed to :P We are happy to help you find scenes but that's it. Mods usually ban ppl for asking such things, like someone I know ._.

woops shoulda added this in last post

Just checking to make sure,

I dont want to make an AMV out of the death scenes, so Im not useing other peoples stuff, I need the death scenes to use as a GUIDE to animate my own death scene.

That still not allowed?

I've seen hundreds of AMVs and I have not seen a single death scene in them. But maybe there are a few. Search the database and look for AMVs that use anime with character designs by hideyuki motohashi, that's what my link was for. If you still can't find them in the AMVs you'll probably have to get them from the DVDs. Which is what you should be doing anyways as downloading anime is against the forum's ethical rules and that way you can see scenes that may not have been used in the AMVs. If you can't rip them then you're pretty much on your own as stated by Nappy and the answer to your question is a resounding "NO."

You could always animate it yourself without a guide. It's an insane thing to do, but it's been done before. I forgot exactly who did it, I think it was either Absolute Destiny or EK that had their own animations in an AMV.

As to making an AMV out of the Anime's actual death scenes, we have no qualms with that. Anime companies look the other way when we use their property because AMVs are sort of like free advertising and it's not like we're making the whole episodes available for download and making them lose money. That's one of the reasons why we have the rule about links to where you can download anime, warez, etc. not being allowed or results in a ban.

Thanks for letting me know,

And Ive had some luck looking through the AMVs, but all divx. Cant find something that will let me copy just one frame at a time.

I tried the animated on own thing, lol, NOT a good job lol, I had a pen tablet and it made sketching the bases realy easy but then, well, I have small stupid animals that chewed through the cords and I had to junk the pen.

I had the DVDs actually, Thats how I knew what I was looking for, But sold them so the husband could buy never winter nights and zelda.

bad call on my part.

Thanx again for the info, Greatly appreciated

Why not convert the divx file to an MPEG or whatever file type you need? TMPGEnc and VDub are essential tools that can convert movie files. They're included in the AMVApp that's downloadable from the site.
