LOL

Post by Epic_Dark_Jaeden » Tue Apr 15, 2003 2:31 pm

Thanx Im gonna look into some of these reccomended proggies. I have all of the frames in sequence like 1.bmp 2.bmp - 9.bmp then 90.bmp 91.bmp then 990.bmp and so on to keep them in numeracle order. PSP will order them 1.bmp, 10.bmp, 11.bmp, 2.bmp, 3.bmp, drove me nuts.

Thanx again

and thanx about the 10fps and the GIJoe crack was funny, saw an epesisode of that yesterday. I am too lazy to do more fps.

I love you people

Just figured out how virtualdub works, and almost sh!t a brick. Its definetely a program for lazy people but it does the job EXACTLY how I wanted it to be done.

The quality is 8,000 times better now that it goes from a BMP to a frame instead of a crappy gif to frame. and the 10fps look better loaded strait to an AVI.

Im looking forward to turning all these images into a clean avi, and hope to post it soon on my website for download.

Once again Thank you all VERY VERY much!

Guys [non-gender-specific]? He's doing this for FUN, not to sell the freakin' thing. "OMG real aniem iz liek 24 fps u n00b!!!" ...you're funny.

I think it's a fucking awesome idea, and if I had any artistic skill I'd be doing something like that myself. Best of luck to you, man.

lol You sound like youve had too much sugar.

Yea Im lazy 10fps is good for me. Ive been renameing all of my .BMPs for about 4 hours now, Im on image 376 lol! Seems alot smoother, and alot well longer? I think my old gif idea made the frame rates shorter then they said, and yet it runs smoother. <shrugs>

wish me luck

Where the heck did that come from :?
OMG liek, read everything before you post junk like that sarah!!!111one
10 fps is extremely low. Most standard animation is at least 15 fps
(most commercial animation, as Rachel noted, runs somewhere between 15 and 24 fps), but if it's just for your D&D campaign, anyone who has a problem with this also has problems with reality in general.
actually like 99% of anime and cartoons in general really runs from 6 - 12 fps...They just double, triple, and quadruple frames to satisfy the 24fps framerate lots of the time.

Uhhh....they weren't calling him (her?) a n00b, they were just saying that standard animation runs a little smoother due to a higher frame rate. I'm in Australia. We have PAL. 25fps   or is it 24.....not too sure, although in all my ripping/editing software, it analyses it as 25fps.

Like I said, if I could I'd be doing that. ;) I have a game plot I'm making a cRPG out of (yeah, yeah, I'm a lamer), and I've gone so far as to consider making a video for it out of existing anime (each anime char "playing" one of mine). But my head would explode.

So, you know.

And as for being annoyed at people sniping about framerate... yeah, they gave the "...oh yeah, just kidding" note at the end, but it still makes me roll my eyes that they had to sermonize about commercial framerates in the first place. We know commercial anime has a higher framerate if we've made it this far.

Anyway.

Our campaign ended up becomeing a short term fling on RPG maker 2k I animated the sprites, but we never continued the work, Too mind boggling. I originally started the video for cut scenes in the game. when we stopped makeing it, it started to turn into an AMV. Thats where its headed now.

Ideas colide :-)
