AMVs to fit the critera

Post by Mariah Ketchum » Wed Apr 09, 2003 8:31 pm

I need know where I can find several AMVs that fit the following things:

1.) They must be school aproprate. No nudity, none or maybe a small amount of blood, and please limit the swearing.

2.) They must be intersting. I want the class to pay attention. -_-'''''''''

3.) They must show somthing about the Japanese culture.

I'm using AMVs in a school project you see. One of the ones I am considering using is "Akane's Baka Song", and I would like some suggestions as to what else I can use.

So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

The first two aren't so bad, it's finding the third that is driveing me crazy. Most amvs are to an English song, and I don't belive that will was well with the whole "Part of the Japanese Culture" thing.

I don't know about the other criteria and I'll have to get a list of what I've got for you but basically anime itself is an aspect of japanese culture so you should be ok with anything there (hell, saying anime is japanese culture is what helped me found the anime club back at my high school in the first place)

I don't know if this fits with the Japanese culture requirement, but if your project is focusing on anime, something I would really recomend is The History of Anime (the inderect link provided on this description page doesn't go anywhere, so you would need to find an alternate source (file sharing) to find it). This is a very good multi anime video that has some text telling of some of the history of anime and clips of several anime from the 60s to 2001.
