Anyone who thinks Evangelion is bad has no idea what the hell they are talking about. It had its share of filler episodes and not many people liked the ending(s), but at its best, Evangelion is an unrivaled emotional powerhouse.

I actually really liked Pilot Candidate. Granted the story wasn't anything extraordinary and the CG basically sucked ass, but character interaction and personalities were all top notch, some of the best I've seen.

Not sure what the deal is with that series though, I mean it just kinda cuts off. Don't know if they just haven't dubbed anything after ep 12 or stopped making it due to lack of interest. *shrugs*
