you couldn't be more correct ... even though it wasnt exactaly the first anime i watche to the end ... i was still (and still am) clueless ... but i want to understand ... hopefully i wll someday
I think you misunderstood. I was not comparing Eva directly to Crack (although that's a pretty good comparison). I was comparing watching Eva as your first anime to using Crack as your first drug: afterward, nothing else is quite as good or strong.
You mean like a gateway drug? After your first hit of anime you have to chase your anime high forever.

no i didn't misunderstand you , i know what you meant. and i agreed with you, Eva is not a good anime if your new to anime. however it is a very good anime in my opinion, just bloody hard to understand from my shallow sheltered point of view ...

The first anime I ever saw was Vampire Hunter D. Soon after I started watching DBZ. Then I discovered the hilarious genious of Rumiko Takahashi with Ranma ½ & InuYasha. I've seen some serious/bloody anime, but I kinda lean more towards the gag kinda stuff.

I like that myself. :) If it has action + and if it has humor +++ :D

I also saw this gay anime called 'the little prince'.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

Hahaha...I used to watch that when I was little. When Nickelodeon had several anime-esque shows on there. Even Disney would show the Unico movies every now & then...I need to find those, so when I have kids I can get them started on anime early.
