There are reasons to fight this was and there are reasons not to. But the people that support the war and the people that do not support the war have reasons to do so and arguing over them wont acomplish anything.

yeah, but he's basing his reasons on facts that have influenced him, and his facts are inaccurate.

It surprises me that there are still people that don't see there is a pretty big fucking line between loving your country and loving those who govern you.

true, but doesn't one directly affect the other?

ex: those that govern you give you the reason to love or hate the country you are a part of (a democracy, or a dictatorship.)

I think the reason there is so much of that "blind" patriotism in this country as was stated.. is because this country actually gives people a reason to be proud.. both in its founding, and the way it was decided to be governed. that fact you may not agree with certain decisions of the current administration, does not mean you do not agree with the method in which they are formed, and how they work.. cuz if you did, you wouldn't agree with the way the country managed..

I dunno.. maybe its something like that..
