trigun on cartoon network

for those of you who didn't know(ive been waiting for months)
trigun starts on adult swim tomorrow(march 31), at midnight(eastern), and 11(central)

lets see how overly edited it is

I actual;ly believe that Trigun won't be editted very much. It's really not that graphic in violence, and there isn't virtually no fanservice and, best I can recall, no nudity whatsoever. Really, given that it is Adult Swim, there really are not that many edits for it to undergo. I estimate that the worst aspect of the AS experience will be the dub.

Oh, yes. Because Trigun is infamous for it's gratuitous and flat-out blatant fan-service. What with the female leads wearing heavy trenchcoats all the time and all.

(I shuld stop forum-browsing at frikken 12:00 AM...)

Everyone wears trenchcoats except Wolfwood, and he wears a suit. Does that strike anyone else as wierd given the desert environment of the series?

Course, there is much to be said for avoiding sun exposure as much as possible, since there's two of the fucking things...

Another thing. Why is virtually no one tan? There's two suns and the whole planet is a desert except for the odd oasis. Yet everyone is pale.

hmmm interesting, i've not noticed this yet, all this talk about trigun makes me wanna watch it, but my wife would kill me, i have to watch it all the way through and yea thats alot of time o_O

You can always record it and watch it later. Or buy the boxset and avoid Milly's English VA altogether!!

didn't that guy with the mohawk and the boomerang in the first episode have dark skin? I think a few of his hench men looked pretty dark too, i'm not too sure, i haven't seen trigun in a while though.

well, most people might stay indoors, too sunny, and plus, the towns arent much of a sight, and it looks to me that most people stay in pubs (there are a lotta people there all the time in Trigun).

and i hope they dont cut much, i hated it when NGE was on that big robot week thing, and luckily, this is on adult swim (right?) so there wont be too many cuts....id still like it if they left it alone.

i can't see any reason why AS would make any kind of cuts ... there really isn't any thing that is overly graphic about that series, the only problem will be the poor english dub. Now could we drop this? We've been talking about this for ages, this just looks like a science convention from before the enlightenment ... bunch of guys sitting around and regergitating the same old bullshit trying keep their confidence about their shallow theocentric views of existance... well myabe that was a little over bloated ... but still thats what i keep thinking off ... if i was more eloquent then it would sound amazing and instantly silence all of you ... but i'm not so i'm getting ready for the barbe-que(sp?)...
