Need help picking an anime for friend.

Post by Pho.79 » Sat Mar 29, 2003 8:41 pm

Well, my friends birthday is coming up, and I wanted to get him some anime for his birthday, but im not really sure which anime to get him. I was thinking of getting him something funny, or light. Any suggestions?

How much are you willing to spend?

Light and funny: Irresponsible Captain Tylor. Not too expensive comapred to other box sets, at least for the TV compilation. It is somewhat hard to find, though. Trigun is good for introducing people to anime, but it is rather expensive.

Hmm, that kind of limits things. You could buy him a movie, perhaps, although none come into my mind right now...

What type of movie do you want to give him? Ex: Horror, comedy, action, etc.

He just said he wanted something funny and light. I'd get him Castle of Cagliostro, it's a guarenteed hit Image

Sorry, I musta missed that part  . Hmmm, well them I would have to say One Piece but I am not sure if that is in english yet. And if not then I think that Castle of Cagliostro would also be a good choice. I havent seen it all the way through but I've heard good things about it.

Funny and Light? Get him Dragon Half. It's a two episode comedy/fantasy OVA.
