Think, fields turning blood red sky darkening. Seen the end of berserk? The end of berserk has NOTHING on watership down. There were only two or three creepy scenes but DAMN were they freaking. Here is a testamonial.

here are some pics from the movie. It's pretty old, and I don't know if I can find pics of the scenes I am talking about yet, but the scene with 'bright eyes' is also semi-creepy due to the death theme it has.

the black rabbit of Inle, (not sure how it is spelled) who is basicaly their angel of death.

still can't find one pic of the scenes I was talking about, I'll keep looking and if someoen else finds some please post them.

Hell it isn't like your alone. This movie haad the same flaw all anime had. They think that since it's a cartoon it must be for kids. I don't think you were the only one scared by it as a kid. But right ow I am leaning toward Suicide is Painless for my creepiest song category winner.
