Well, I am "Nightowl..." : ) Editing for long hours is slightly conditioned due to deadlines in the professional world - once I start, I can't stop until my body collapses. This goes in conjunction with my need to do film - a need that comes from the very depths of my soul as an artist! And don't forget about that whole pretentious thing, that's an important factor. Of course, there are other issues involved, such as sleeping disorders and psychological trauma, so... yeah! I guess I am sick!Ashton wrote:Nightowl wrote:Anyway, Nightowl, you are sick. How in the world did you do that? I mean, really, all of you people that pulled all nighters... why?

So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

I've sat down and edited for about 7-10 hours. Not too sure, i start loosing my creativeness at about 6 and need to take a break. Although when i am coding i can go for even longer as long as there is stuff to do and there are minimal problems... been coding for 3+ hours so far ran into a prob, so i am stoping
, time to hit the sack, i am about to fall on the keyboard and use it as a pillow

Yeah, like Nightowl said, longest nonstop was 5 days. Best 5 days of no sleep I ever spent. But you want to know how we REALLY survived it? Ritz, baby. Ritz keeps ya going.
Longest period of time to make an AMV: three months on Numb. Well, not counting the two years I'm spending to come up with another idea

hell yes, with me I get rolling I just use every spare moment I can get. So I pull around 3 or 4 8 hour shifts in the span of two or three days.Beowulf wrote:My second video was made in one day from 4:30pm - 2:30am.
10 hours is the longest I've pulled in a sitting. But hey, when the creative juices are flowing, it is in your best interest to capatalize on the situation.
