Face it, if I said, oh, I dunno, YCSTR's videos sucked, no one would really care. (Not sayin' they do, jus' usin' it as an example.) Some people might get mad, but in the end no harm would befall anyone.
But, if I said Brad Demoss' or Kusayaro's vids sucked, chances are that when it was all said an' done the post would be deleted, the thread would be axed or locked, an' I might get banned. Why? Because like I said, causin trouble is fine, but piss off someone in the upper echelon, your ass is toast.
I dunno. There's a bit of an old boys club I'm sure. I've been friends with them for years. I don't agree that there is an upper echelon. Sure, everybody respects the work that's been done over the years but it really yeilds no clout or control over the community or this website at all.

Really though, nobody should be looking to piss anybody off. It's really not hard to avoid pissing people off. It's all about behavior.

Did what happen to SpPanda stink? I'm certainly smelling something in the air, but I'm not going to blame Hsien or Brad.

well if they did it then they should be, but whether or not thye did remains to be seen, phade needs to give some answers and FAST!
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

it also seems to be that phade was looking to ban panda and now was his oprotunity to do it.

Did what? It's pretty obvious from SpPanda's AIM log that this is between SpPanda and Phade and that's it.

You guys remember that time Joe Croasdaile and Hsien tried to make a speedy nautical escape?

I've managed to avoid banning so far, but I've had a fair share of deleted posts thankyouverymuch. =P

And how :P

For the record, I must say that the conversations around here (in the upper forums) have been more lively, at least.
Everyone is not the same as you.
Get over it.
And lighten up.

there is more to this than the AIM log AD. if you read it you woudl see that the mods went and changed the titles of his posts. something done to me only twice, adn never to a degree like that. And panda didn't like it that much. So the mods and panda don't like eachother, and phade doesn't seem tol ike panda either. but you see, there is more than just phade and panda to all this.

Well all I know is if I were a mod, I wouldnt like to have to manually delete 47 posts and would probably be annoyed with SpPanda too :)
