My respect for you just went up a notch or 5. You stated your point. I did not mean to attack you personally, it's just that I hear this topic once every couple months, and I'm getting as sick of IT as I am the raging animosity towards other forum members I see out of people like NDW, Jace, and Cat. I apologize for my abrasiveness, I was just tired of everyone trying to state the solution without saying it.

then let me ask in simple terms, what is so dificult about being nice to someone? (at least until they flame you) Otaku did nothing to you, then you go and bite his head of and go on that tirade about how we need to "earn you respect". The only thing that pisses me off more than being flamed is watching people flame other nice people. Otaku did NOT deserve that.

I accept and I sympathize with and understand your frustration, as I am bugged by reoccuring topics myself (especially the legalities/moralities of AMV topics). I apologise for binging up this subject in the mannor in which I did. There are probably as many complaints on this list as there are flames, as each seems to inspire the other. Now hopefully this topic will rest in peace.

Also, what does using digisubs and using dvd footage have to do with anything. Legally speaking, both dvd and nondvd footage isn't exactly legal. People go around saying that DVD footage is fine only for quality purposes... You can't say it's illegal cause it's NOT YOUR FOOTAGE COPYRIGHT ^_^

Ok Cat. Who deserves you flaming them for every little thing? You understand that you are at the bottom of the barrel as far as these forums go. At least you have that down pat. You add nothing productive to any conversation you're ever in, you yourself rip on people that don't deserve it a bit, and you generally don't give a flying rat's ass what you say or who you say it to. Who are you to judge me for my actions? I'll tell you. You aren't. In closing I'd like you to fuck off, and generally not talk to, or about me again. You don't know me, and you most likely never will.

Yes, this has become a flame war.

I also think that Cat's opinion of you probably changed - since he had made that post - for the better, prior to this one. The above comments may have re-heated this up.

As for Cat - while I appreciate your desire to come to the defense of me, you have done so in a confrontational manner to a person who had no beef with you. I think you should apologise.
