So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

This isn't a symptom exclusive to AMVs. It's reflective of the current
Internet climate. For example, I'm big into the Max Payne modding
community and have been for quite some time. We have our own Ermac.
His name is Ken_Y and he developed a kung fu mod that made him nigh
a god to many, and it pisses him off. We deal with more than our share
of n00bs, and a disturbing amount of them are much more rude and
ignorant than the "Otaku". Go to the
http://www.maxpayneheadquarters.com forums and ask where
Evilpoptart is or what happened to Dodge This. You'll probably get the
same responce as asking about Kevin Caldwell.
Trust me, a-m-v.org is a much friendlier community than alot of others out
there. Its just something we have to live with.

on gamefaqs you can't spit without hitting 12 XBOX vs PS2 threads.

MPHQ isn't a "gamefaqs" site. It's for the Max PayneCaTaClYsM wrote:on gamefaqs you can't spit without hitting 12 XBOX vs PS2 threads.

pierrot: Cataclysm meant the site GameFAQs, not to categorize MPHQ as that type of site. As for earthcurrent correcting your spelling mistake, at least he did it politely.
I have nothing more constructive than this to add....i just don't want this to degrade into a flame war
