Correct, correct. I have to admit, I spam a lot in this forum, but looking over my track record I think most of my spam is directed as attacks against folks who make silly statements, create troll posts, or in threads that have devolved into platforms for mod bashing/flaming.Corran Productions, in very tiny letters, wrote:Just in case you would like to know. What I do not like is when a subjects are brought up and argued over and over again, despite the fact that nothing comes of it every time except dividing people into "I am right" "No, I am right" type camps. And this is when I usually start with my real sarcastic posts. Of course, as sarcastic as they are, they should be taken with a grain of salt.
Certainly I have had my share of posts and thread starts that the mods have been deleted, and in hindsite, most of these deserved to be deleted or weren't worth keeping around for any length of time. Certainly I have not had anything terribly important deleted, I am not, nor is anyone else posting world shaking truths that the mods are desperately trying to hide from our eyes lest we learn too much.
Omni, I don't agree with your view that Kevin's withdrawl from the community was a copout, though. If I understand what was going on, he was genuinely tired, and was not having fun anymore. Really, you are something of a glutten for punishment if you continue doing a hobby that isn't fun anymore. He's moved on to other things, and I'm quite certain that Kevin is not sitting around twiddling his thumbs, sighing, and lamenting the passing of the good old days.
I do agree that there has been a lot of change to this forum. There's this saying in Ghost in the Shell...something like: "Overspecialize and you breed in weakness; it's slow death." In other words, change and variety is good, and the inclusion of fresh blood certainly keeps things from stagnating here.
