Let as create love, not war.
lets stop all the fighting and arguing. Communities will degrade, but try to find a good part of it and focus on that. And if you can't find one, leave. It's simple.
gay is a cockroach word, it won't go away until theres a better one. Now while I am out of line using it. Whatever. the chatroom is crazy and really has always been since I've been there. And its just a chat anyway. No one should expect it to be Politically Correct city. But for the most part people here are nice, I don't see alot of hostility between many people except possibly NDW and some newbies. Going off on people isn't cool. Whatever though. The community isn't that bad. Drama queens are everywhere though.
Wakka wakka I'm a muppet.

I'm not sure o_o probably if you don't refer to the good old days of amvs then your probably new hehe. Unless you called them the bad old days, or if you were in the good old days but didn't realize there were good or bad, or even if they were old at all considering most of the ppl talking about the good old days are talking about a few years ago. Or maybe....wait I really don't know o_okthulhu wrote:How do we determine which generation we are?Nappy wrote:The old generation, made the new generation. Please keep that in mind at all times :*
I am crying level confused.
The world in general has been in a stagnant state for a while now. It's no surprise that it would spread here.
I am in a padded room level of confused

I can't disagree with anything said there. The whole thing is driven by pride. It's natural for pride to lead to egotism. I've seen what you are talking about countless times, from many creators over the years. Myself included and even you.
That very attitude is very upsetting to people struggling to make a name for themselves amongst their peers.

but as for people like me, who never even distro their vids, I have nothing to worry about, (especialy criticism of my vids.)

So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

1. People get annoyed at "hi, I'm new!" posts.
2. Phade sets up a forum in part for that.
Ohhhh yes, the nigh-foolish pastime of 'n00b killing'. Thanks for reminding me, I'd forgotten completely about it...since I think it's dumb and I pretty much ignore it. The funniest part about it (if there is anything funny about it) is that it's basically noobs doing it to other noobs. Makes you wonder... But at any rate to me that exemplifies the immature element to the forum that does drive people away.dokidoki wrote:3. People start to say "hi" there, but some people start this stupid "n00b killing" stuff. I find the graphic descriptions used appalling. (the lack of courtesy more than the descriptions themselves) If someone new walks into a room at a party, do you go up to them and say, "hey n00b I rip your guts out with my +3 blade of righteous n00b slashing lolololol!!!"
Everyone is not the same as you.
Get over it.
And lighten up.
