I don't agree with that. If moderators are stuping to those levels, that's depressing. Banning/suspending a disruptive member, I can understand, but changing his posts to humiliate him is lower than low. Being a moderator comes with a greater responsibility and shouldn't condone behavior like that by taking part in it.

I'd have left too. That just ain't cool.

As for the review, I'm sorry it pissed him off. People need to understand that not everyone is going to like what you do when you make art. You'll get feedback that you have to learn to deal with on an emotional level. It comes with the territory of making AMVs and then posting them here to get reviews. Also, if I hadn't reviewed his vid and upset him, he probably wouldn't have reviewed mine in return. Some good came from it.

He got his answer, if that thread pisses you off so much, I'm sorry, but you need to be less fucking uptight and get a fucking sense of humor. Maybe Panda is right about many people having a stick shoved up their ass. If you want a scapegoat, go after NDW, hes 11 and has zero to no people skills. Complaining about something doesn't help it. And the legalities of AMV's are hardly something thats on 5% of the creator's mind's. Please. Quit trolling.

Alright then, I just read this entire thread, and frankly it bothers me. Tell me OtakuOutpost, what would you have the forum do? Automatically ban anyone you deemed "immature" or you don't like? Honestly... The "new generation" that you've been speaking of is the CURRENT generation, and I happen to like most of them quite a lot. So just DEAL WITH IT. A fundamental part of acting with "immaturity" is complaining, which is honestly all that you are doing in this thread. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean other people shouldn't either. I think the forums are just fine the way they are, always changing.

First of all, I don't believe I made reference to a "new generation". We are all AMV creators, I'm just from the old school of online AMV conduct. There is no GENERATION involved here. We are one community. I've stated that I'm depressed with the way people some people act and that I'm thinking about leaving. I made reference to a time where online attitude problems didn't exist, showing that things need not be this way. I was also looking for some simpathy here, and I did get some. I have renewed faith in much of this list as a result.

What would I like the forum to do? I would like the people posting on it to consider how they treat people. That's what this thread has shaped into really being about. Is that too much to ask?

In terms of banning people, I've already shown in this thread that I'm really not for indiscriminately banning people. I don't understand where these misconceptions are coming from. I've even spoken out against the conduct of the Mods in dealing with one such person.

About banning, if this is still about SpPanda, though I don't like the fact he was banned, but again he had it comming and he knew it. Phade even spoke to him about it from what I remember. Also because of his actions, the Worlds Largest Thread was taken away, though I think it's bullshit that it was.
