Wear the 'Peace Symbol' and Go Directly to Jail...

My professor had mentioned a very disturbing incident in our discussion on politics and (loss of) freedom in America: Some guy at a mall or something sent to jail and fined for wearing of all things, a shirt with the 'Peace' symbol on it --- FUKN' SCARRY MAN!!!!

Anybody else hear of this?

I heard of it, but all I heard was that he was asked to leave the mall, and the mall dropped the charges soon afterward. Malls are uptight lately. The youth group I go to said they were doing a scavenger hunt with photos and the manager accused them of being terrorists.

It happened in crossgates .. about 3 minutes from here too ... but last weekend they got together a group of hs and collage students to protest it .. and walk through the mall all day with anti-war t-shirts on .. without much trouble.

its not that surprising. My school assigned me a mental health checkup because they thought I might be a terrorist when my mom came in expressing concerns about my grades and telling them I believed I could "mystically astral project".
I'm fucking studying occultism and eastern religion. Naturally my mom and the guidance counselor being normal american christians had no idea what that meant or what they were talking about and thus the aforementioned scenario.

lol .. edo .. i was sent to guidence last week .. when on a few accounts .. my teachers and mother says i have been "increasingly more agitated" and am worried about me loosing it one day in a violent outburst in school .. it made me feel sorta funny when the guidence counceler explained this lol.

Personally, I'm reading these accounts and laughing at the general idiocy. I can't state my own opinion now? Can't research non-european religious beliefs, or not have religious beliefs? Jeezus...

Does anyone have sources on any of these incidents? I'd be interested in reading details.
