Let me explain.

See, an atheist is one that doesnt believe in an afterlife or the existence of any deities.

Now, people always use the expression "thank god" as to be grateful for something. Sometimes the individual isnt necessarily thankful to god, but its just said out of habit.

Now, Im thanking god for being atheist, and since such a thing is no possible, it will probably cause a rip in space time continum and all existence will probably end.

Depends on what anime you watch, Koihime is actually pretty good (as long as its humour i'm alright with it ),
but, then you watch something like Bible Black , (i couldn't stomache it) i guess you would be thinking things like that..

Someone sure has a lot of unvented aggression. Regardless of what you think, you haven't really rebutted the point with any logical argument and I don't think attacking someone is the best way to get credibility behind your statements. If you had read the post, I said that people watch it so they don't do these things in real-life. It's no secret that people have their sick fantasies, I'm guessing that this is a way for them to channel that energy.

Perhaps I should post it again:

My understanding is that this is a way to fulfill those carnal desires that people have without breaking the law or well...doing that to someone. I guess in that sense hentai is a good thing since it allows people to vent that inappropriate/illegal energy towards something else.

I don't understand how you could misinterpret this. It's fairly clear in it's grammar and vocabulary.

Think for a minute: why are their movies? Because people are watching other people do fantastic or living fantastic stories. Why is their pornography? Same reason, we see people doing things (or people I guess) that we wish we were doing. Obviously the same point can be directed to both anime and hentai. Everyone knows that animation is chosen over live-action in some cases because the scenes would be impossible to do in real-life.
