I was without internet just long enough to miss the VCA's completely.

Any real awesome vids pop up out of the blue, or was it more or less the big vids we'd all been watching all year anyway?

Mostly the big one's, but a few that I personally hadn't heard too much of before seeing them on the voting listings.

The VCAs were kinda disappointing...there were about 4-5 videos that were nominated over and over which made voting kinda...boring. The fact that two of the five comedy videos were based on adult content is also kinda unsettling.

That said, none of my stuff made the list so maybe I shouldn't be commenting/complaining.

They were also two of the six up for Best Fun. Yay sex.

Yep, when I finish watching a fun dance video like Odorikuruu, I think to myself, "hey, I think I'll watch some porn now!"

On the subject, I too was disappointed. I was hoping to download a whole bunch've great AMV's... but it was pretty much just 5 of 'em repeated over n' over.

Could we have the 5 (or even 10) Runners Up please, Phade? I desperately need recommendations. My download plan has a monthly cap (no downloading every new AMV), The Top% List is seldom updated, and my poor "Please recommend some great recent AMV's" thread died a silent death...

I need Cartoon Music Videos! *cries*
