Well, for starters... my First name means "Male", I guess (the middle one meand "friend of horses"... but that's another matter entirely)

Yes, i agree, there is a lot of very disturbing Hentai ... but it all depends on how you look at it. You can see a disgusting act of violation (rape and tentacles and ll that), you can see something very humorus, or you can think of it as porn and get your "jollies" out of that ... i think Hentai was initialy developed as a form of adult humor for those with minds that don't function the same as yrou run of the mill person (Which can be good or bad). But thats jsut my opinion, i'm pretty new to Anime, so i'm probably wrong, but it's stil what i think. As for going to hell ... i guess it depends on yoru frame of mind while your watching it ... but then again, i think you also said "if somone makes you watch it ..." I've personaly never seen anyone grab somone and force them to watch hentai ... i suppose such an act would fall under cruel and unsual punishment under the Canadien Charter of Rights and Freedom ... But still, i doubt it, one that there is a hell, and two that something as stupid as watching funny cartoon porn would land you a spot in hell when we've got people doing much bigger and uglier things ...

Nah, I think this came about because there is no physical way to do such things in real porno. Some of the things in hentai are quite impossible in real life (have you seen a 100 tentacle monster before?) or VERY illegal. Do you know of any legal porno that has a woman being raped and violated? My understanding is that this is a way to fulfill those carnal desires that people have without breaking the law or well...doing that to someone. I guess in that sense hentai is a good thing since it allows people to vent that inappropriate/illegal energy towards something else.
