Although they aren't funny there are a couple mascot creatures in a few series you mentioned, SSJVegita0609.

GITS-SAC has tachikoma. They aren't small by any imagination, but their voices and naivete are very cute and they move quite cutely at times.

Some Gundam series have small round robotic balls with 'ears' called Haros. "Haro genki! Gundam genki!"

And in the SD Gundam series all the characters are cute and mascotty I still have no clue what 'boppin!' is supposed to mean..
