from my experience with useing this controller...I would say that it's sorta slow...like when I used sheik in SSBM It wouldn't respond as quickly as the original...so I would miss out on combos. but the extra Z is nice :D ...haven't used it yet though :?

anyways....link is the only reason I"m getting SC!! so yeah!!!! GO LINK!!!!

hehe...I'm not really into the fighting games...for the fact that it has a bit of a flaw...you know that flaw...button mashers and people who repeat the same damn move over and over win for some reason. IMO...DOA series doesn't have that flaw...and neither does SSB series.

Man, I've been thinking about this game for such a long time now that is almost seems like an older game, just like the WindWaker. I just want them to come out now! lol But anyways, I'm still waiting... ^_^

There's two arcade machines with SC2 in my college Rec Room...
The Game RAWKS!!!

My one complaint is that they dubbed the voices to english. You should hear the crap they say...

"So, do you want me to knock you out?" -Maxi-
"Don't ... cry" -Mitsurugi-
"Well, aren't you the rude one..." -Raphael-
I like bugging people. Deal with it.

eh wrong, DOA does have that flaw (which is easily over come as long as you know how to play the game you can beat anyone who does that, I've never had a problem beating a button masher). Anyway, my 7 year old brother button mashed DOA and won, not beating me cause I stopped playing before he get got into.

It is my belief that smash brothers is THE textbook example of a good fighting game. It just LOOKS shallow because it is a mascot fighting game. I had been under the impresion it was a novelty shallow game, then I went a fought someone else who owned the game. He beat the living crap out of me, he was knocking me all over hyrule castle as Ness, while I, as falcon, could do little to nothing. Then I decided it was time to figure out exactly what it was I was doing, so I started training on timed games against teams of lvl 9 links, while I switched off between every character in the game. Then I went and went through one player on one life and when I died I would start from the begining again. Now, I'm beating him, and noone else is even willing to play against me.

That stupid N64 controller... I never liked using the Z button with my left hand (altho it did seem realistic in the shooter games...) The new GameCube controllers, however, are better. I've never tried one of the MadCatz ones (I did for XBOX, they are better than the big, beefy controllers by far!! My friend has it, I have GC) In Metroid Prime, I don't hit the A ubtton fast enough or gan get a good Free Look thing going when I need to aim low or high, that's a thing that I consider when I want to buy a game, but I bought it anyways because I'm a fan of the metroid series (almost beat Fusion, but stupid Ridley killed me, and I still have to go through the other people, shouldn't take long...) I like games that are fast paced, lots of adventure shoot-em-up kind of games (like Halo, SSBM can go in there too because it's fast paced). What's really gun though is playing music during SSBM, because It's fun to make combos to the music (I beat the hardest mode on it with Slipknot and Fear Factory in the background) I might get SC 2, if I can get the money and if my parents are with me (if the game is rated M and I'm sure it is and if they let me get it...)

Note to self: Stop wandering off onto other topics so much....

JustAnOrdinaryPanda wrote:Now Link I can understand, shame I'll have to put up with that damned controller if I want to get that version, but the other two are mind-numbing. First off Spawn just plain has nothing to do with the XBOX at all, and Heihachi, geez, they should have realised that no one likes Tekken...

I don't even know how they're going to fit the latter two characters into the game, what weapons they are going to give them. Have all of these been confirmed? Because surely they couldn't be that stupid/cruel to XBOX/PS2 owners? Dante would have been a kick ass character to put into the PS2 version, and he'd fit in with the sword and the such, why must they make me suffer so?
How can you understand link but not spawn and heihachi o_O
Wanna know their stories. Link time/world travels, Spawn and Heihachi time travel. It's equally lame :P Spawn is in it cuz mcfarlane designed the Necrid character which is on all platforms. Heihachi is made by Namco so it's no biggie getting him, just like whats his face was in SC. Heihachi has no weapon which throws it off -_- well unless you count his armbands.

If DC was still around I wonder who they'd get O_O Sonic nope, Ulala hehe, Phantasy star chars would fit, ooh ooh Shinobi would be sweet O_O

With the N64 half the games dont even USE the D pad on the left. (smash brothers being one) but on the GC, they decided that they were going to crap all over the smashes and have you reach down with your right thumb to do a regular smash, while the regular smash command ( moving to a specific direction and hiting the A button at the same time) Mkae your person FREEZE and FLASH like some sort of WARNING signal, and after about 8 years he does a smash move.

Metroid Prime uses it, but my left thumb isn't fast enough to reach it all the time, same with the C stick... Not fast enough and I end up dying or something...

Dude, you don't have to wait until the smash attack was at full power. You can do it faster than that.
