AV Sync Problem
Yo. Can anyone shed light on a hassle ive been having? it goes thusly.
I rip a DVD in Smartripper.
I open DVD X to encode it with.
I set all my encoder options up, Usually either DivX or XviD at 100%
quality, quantizer 2.
I check the Audio Video syncronization box.
I encode.
I watch finished product. One problem. Ahem...
THE FUCKIN VIDEO AND AUDIO ARE OUT OF SYNC. I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING AND ITS PISSIN ME RIGHT THE FUCK OFF!!!
So, can anyone tell me where i went wrong?
(o, btw the AV sync box makes no difference either way.)

Sigh, another douchebag whining that his question isn't answered instantaneously... when he posts while most viewers of this board are asleep. Simply brilliant.

Yep It'll do that. I'd tell you the answer but I don't know it. If I did I would have told you when watching it.SS5_Majin_Bebi wrote:Yo. Can anyone shed light on a hassle ive been having? it goes thusly.

Watch out for ABR audio (in LAME) because I had some problems (and heard of others having problems too) with that. Try going back and doing CBR audio if you are doing ABR now.

Man... you people with your damn fast computers. Lay off, TAB! Some of us have to deal with sub 500 MHz systems! I could upgrade, but I'm giving all my money to the donut, even though I'm not using it. But that is an issue for an entirely seperate thread!!!RadicalEd0 wrote:Its the fucking directshow decoder for chrissake. Set the postprocessing level lower or get a better system.

Far better and more intelligent people have expressed far greater insults than that to me.SS5_Majin_Bebi wrote:after wading thru the avalanche of bullshit (thanks, jbone *up yours*)
