Email notifications...

At the moment, the forum gives us email notifications of various things if we want it to and that got me thinking - it could be really useful to have notifications for some other things.

Would it be possible to have an option to receive email notifications of new reviews and new download problems?

It just seems like it could be a useful thing - especially the latter.

Since we're on the topic of more notifications, an old suggestion I made that went largely ignored:

More Notifications

And considering how a few people mentioned that VCA went by too fast and without them being notified when to nominate and when to vote, or when to check the box that all your videos have been consolidated and entered into the database properly... To make this short, you'd be surprised how many things a person can miss if they don't get a glaring reminder right when they log in.

And having more notifications of things like these would be helpful to those of us who are less attentive.

I sent out emails about it to everyone who signed up for the newsletter in thier site profile. There isn't much more I can do than that.
