INFAMY!!!

....or maybe just uninformed....

Jin-Roh is ASTOUNDINGLY worth watching. The production values in terms of animation are unbelievable, the result of three years of human labor, with negligible computer involvement. As for the story, it operates on at least three layers, and rewards intensive repeat watching. I'm not sure I've ever seen its equal, let alone its better.

As long as you watch it in Japanese, that is. The American voice actor for Fuse, the central character, sucks eggs compared to his Japanese counterpart, and the translators try in some places to make the story something it isn't.

definitely, definitely, definitely acquire and watch Jin-Roh.

Macross Zero is actually like a prequel.. to the original Macross. :) When you see things like Alpha or Zero appending after a series in video games at least it most likely means a prequel. For example Street Fighter Alpha/Zero takes place in Street Fighter story's timeline in the past although it came out after the original Street Fighter game. I did notice they have a character named Fokker, whether or not it's the same person as in the original Macross I'm not entirely sure yet. Macross Zero has a very Gasaraki feel to it as well with some unique spiritual references as a backdrop for the war between the human and I'm assuming zentraedi race.

Beserk is a very violent series. One of the most violent and bloody series i've ever seen has to be Saint seiya, is just AWSOME, is really old though and its very hard to find. But recently toei animation made an 8 chapter OAV called the Hades saga; i havent seen it all but i've seen some scenes and it looks great...And u can get it on Kazaa.

Yes, the blood in saint seiya is in VERY generous quantities, but the show, both the old one and the new one, are surprisingly good.
It is also the second anime I ever watched.

The new OVA is up to episode 8, but more are coming out soon.
I like bugging people. Deal with it.

well,as for watching Jin-Roh,I only watch anime in Subtitled,so,that wouldn't be a problem =D.I heard they even have a Roy in Macross Zero as well. And as for the whole street fighter thing,I already knew about that ^_^.Well,only cause I got the Japanese version of Street Fighter Alpha 3,and it says Street Fighter Zero 3,hehe.And my friend has the Subtitled version of Street Fighter Alpha the movie and it's called Street Fighter Zero. But what I don't understand is what you said about it taking place BEFORE the original Street Fighter series..Akuma wasn't introduced till AFTER the original Street Fighter series..he was first introduced in Street Fighter Alpha for SNES,so could you please explain to me what you meant?

You'll have to wait for dvds, Bandai licensed it in a heart beat and the fansubbers only got to ep 6. I wonder why they would undertake such a project when it is allready popular in America. It seems obvious from the start that Bandai would want it...

ummm.Corran,I've seen for download (the FULL episode) of Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex all the way up to 10 ^_^,I haven't seen any higher than that I suppose cause the people who are sharing the later episodes weren't on at the time when I searched. So even if a company did license it...you know it's gonna leak anyways from other people.

Hmmm.... I just checked and comfirmed that... sry bout that. Hmm... those fan subbers could get in serious trouble if Bandai found out.. I have up to ep 6. I just thought it was licensed at that point... Ah! Too many ellipses. :?
