just had a thought.

There is nothing in this forum to challenge anyones way of thinking, in fact, there seems to be a very low level of cognitive processes taking place here. Sooner or later, most of the posts just turn into childish displays of power. This is not a flame post by the way, and seeing as im not in the best of moods right now im open to saying whats on my mind. What are the thoughts of the rest of the forum?

I'm finding that I've unconsciously become both a constable and a sheepherder on these forums, when I'm not just shooting the shit and posting nonsense.

There's an awful lot of immaturity and ignorance to go around, but I prefer not to see it go unchecked. I'll try to be as civil as possible to n00bs and kiddies, but lawd lawd my patience does get tested.

This is the way it is on the Internet. Even in discussions between supposedly "intelligent" people and groups thereof, things we would call "immaturity" and "idiocy" can be found in far larger quantities.

If you want thought-provoking material, go read a book, or go talk with somebody. In the real world.

That's the thing about the internet. Everyone is free to say whatever the hell they want to say, even if no one really wants to hear it.

I know what you mean by the 20 going on 5000 comment, though. I'm only 21, but sometimes I feel like the guardian to the Chalice of Life (re: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade).
