Need Suggestions(from someone experienced) on a parody AMV

I'm currently working on my first parody AMV(my second AMV ever) and I don't know if I am satisfied by the way it is turning out. I really want to avoid making a plain, average AMV and though it's thoroughly entertaining, I just don't think it will stand out enough. Although it doesn't help that the song has been used before *dammit* the Anime is RahXephon which has been, thus far, grossly underused for AMVs.

So here's the deal - The AMV is Mindless Self Indulgence - Pussy All Night/RahXephon. I am uploading a 75% finished preview of it to sledgebox.com.
