A weekend nonstop... I learned premeire well enough to do basic cuts, fades, speed up, slow down, etc.

umm, my first AMV took me a good week.......umm, maybe 2 weeks......i dunno, it was almost 2 years ago ^_^

i just used my first video as a way to figure out how to use premiere. after my first 4 video's, it was a damn breeze to use :?

First vid? That damn thing took me 5 weeks of frame-by-frame editing. But that one doesn't count cuz it sucked.

1 day, and it was utter crap. The next AMV took about 67 hours of work and came out much better.

2 hours.

That includes installing Premiere, getting my pirated footage off CDs (*hangs head in hands*) and editing. It came out sucky, and it went through 4 or 5 conversions before done.

3 weeks of procrastination with a little work here followed by a little work there. I don't know how many hours were actually spent on it, but I would geuss it was near 20 hours? maybe.

I think it turned out rather well for a first vid (DVD rip, High quallity RM/Mpeg encode) and it actually went somewhere instead of having a bunch of action clips thrown together.

My first vid took me about an hour and a half. It was complete and utter crap, and even though no one ever saw it I still have yet to live down the shame. :)

A few hours on a JVC professional VHS editing system (it could do insert editing! Wahey!) using a cassette legit copy of Twisted Sister's "The Kids Are Back" and a Japanese-language VHS copy of Akira (a domestic release did not exist at that point).

About 70 hours, not including the time spent reading guides, program manuals, installing software, planning the vid, etc.
