It comes down to this: you're sending out your videos to be seen. You should want your video presented in the best form possible. If you see a "bad" looking video, you probably won't give it as much of a chance as a "good" looking video, despite what the content of said videos may be. If you're going to go all-out in getting your videos seen, you should go all-out in making them look and sound as best you can :).
Yea I understand all that. I'm actually trying to be cute with my CD and putting an autorun flash screen for it, so you don't have explore the CD. I already added features to install realmedia player and windows media player. And also version 6.0 of Flash if they don't have it. No downloading involved. My only issue right now is with premiere, something new everytime I use it, but last night I was producing my newest video and the damned thing would output avi....no actually it did, but no video no audio and it was only 11 mb. So I went ahead and outputed in .rm. I'm going to go back and do it in wmv as well and then see if I can get an avi out of it.

I sometimes like to have it in wmv video cause when I'm at work, I can't view divx files too easily; if at all.

I sent an email out to everyone who has a CD/video on the Distribution Center but a few of them did bounce back. If you did not receive an email and would like to be on my occasional mail list then either email me at red_wolf@mac.com, post here with your email address, or send me a PM. Thanks.

Hello I'm new here. I love making AMV's. I currently have 4 well made AMV's. 3 of them are Akira and the last one is Samurai X. I use adobe premier and adobe photoshop 7.0 for my music videos. I have alot of experience with making music videos. If anyone would like to see some of my best music videos, add me on msn at adam_adobe@hotmail.com!

Hey good for you!

This is what the all about Me Thread is for, jack ass.

If you were going to pos tin the wrong forum, much less an already existing thread, the least you could have done was picked a diffrent one. If you read this thread at all, it's all oriented with the AMV Distrobution Center. If you were thinking of submiting your videos to the center, that's all good and dandy, but you didn't even mention it. Good job posting nonsense in what's probably the most professional and up held thread on this site.

Wow, I didn't know this was considered one of the better threads on the forum. I'm touched.

BTW, the Distro is up to 44 AMV CDs now on the catalog (added 5 new ones this weekend). I'm also working on a new catalog system to make things a bit easier for me to keep updated and everyone else to browse through. Keep those requests and submissions coming everyone.

*love* By the way, how would one go about adding newly created videos to a studio's CD? Would I have to send you a new CD with it on there, or could I ask you to download ceratin videos and add them to an existing CD (if there's enough room)?

A CD-R cannot have files added to it once it is finalized. Once it's done, it's done, period. The only way to make an updated version is to make an entirely new CD and burn the old one. Or use it as a coaster, that part's more of a personal preference.

Come on, Chaos, you know I'm not dumb  I meant, would Red Wolf burn a new master, or would RVP have to send him Vol. 2? I think I can guess the answer, but I figured there's no harm in asking :P I'll talk to Jon about a new CD.
