let's see........
an Evangelion vid done to Rammstein's "Engel" - I think it's by Kevin Caldwell, though I'm not sure, as there's no credits. but it's just plain kickass.
Trigun done to Kid Rock's "Cowboy", from Samuel L. Broncowitz productions. I don't know if it truly qualifies as an action vid, but it's also just plain kickass.
and finally, from Obsession Video, "JUMP!" by Sam Farha. I didn't always like the song, but this video just makes me want to, well, jump around. and break things.

Bad Idea Productions.....abbreviated as "BIP" because that's the sound my head makes when people throw stuff at it after seeing my videos.

Heh, my friend and I watched that in english class. It's now his favorite vid. I find it tiresome after a while, but still entertaining overallBeowulf wrote:Bring out the killer in yew

My favorite is the professional GGX Prev AMV trailer created by Arc Systems. I entered it by proxy, but since my student server got wiped. (Probably because so many people were downloading it and the other videos I had for download, as GGX Prev and Violinist of Hameln Videos are among the most underrated AMVs in the entire database, VoH ranking as 2nd most underrated.
) But yeah, I heard the trailer is now also packaged with the domestic release of Guilty Gear XX for the PS2. The Guilty Gear fighting game series has in my opinion the absolute best fighting game music period, setting it to a butt-kicking anime preview trailer with character designs that look like they stem from masami obari's sketchpad is only natural, while at the same time being awe-inspiring. I hear it is on it's way to becoming a real anime, which will be interesting since one of the main twists for the story in the games is that Japan has been wiped out and that Japanese people are an endangered race and most of the characters speak English. (Or should that be Engrish?
In the trailer, this is very evident as you get a treat in that the subtitles are for the most part, Japanese and the majority of the dialogue is English.

Nappy's "The Path of Most Resistance" 6 min. of almost nothing but Rurouni Kenshin fight scenes set to the trippy beat-intensive song "Keep Hope Alive" by Crystal Method. It is teh flashee.
It is similar to Loopychew's Butterfly video, but Loopychew uses the smile.dk butterfly song, so it's more "wo-man-tic."

OrionPro's "Dead Girls in the Dark" Darkstalkers set to "Living Dead Girl" by Rob Zombie, focuses more on the female characters, but gives good glimpses of all the Dark Stalkers characters battling. Pretty neat.
There's also some fanserviceyness and appropriate sultry lip-synch going on, which I'm sure guys will appreciate.

Mortal Kombat AMVs are also classic 'pump-you-up'-ers. I like the Muyo Kombat and the G Gundam ones the most (Although the G Gundam one does not have a good capture quality because it's really old, maybe we'll see a remake now that domestic DVDs are starting to come out.) Not going to link this one, since there are a lot of MK AMVs, including one called "This is Not Another Mortal Kombat Video!"
so just search for 'em.
